Election Strategy Redux?

In the wake of two U.S. election victories wrought from trumped up fear, could it now be time for a third?

Update: It appears that the puppeteer-in-chief is now rolling out the newly-minted 2006 stragegy. See this for details.

You would think that anyone trying to get elected would run on something of which they are proud. Instead, our pols point proudly in the opposite direction where their shame should be and run campaigns based on corporatism and theocracy. Unbelievable! Stupid and proud of it, I'd say, is the new neo-con campaign slogan.

I am counting the seconds until the Connecticut Senate race. This is THE litmus test of how the Iraq war is perceived by the blue states and Dems. If Lamont wins, it's Katie-Bar-the-Door for the November mid-terms. I hope the Dems can run on the Bush-Lieberman kiss. It says so much about Bush and Lieberman.
